"Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us."

Scripture: 1 Kings 12:25-33
Wayne Stiles teaches from 1 Kings 12:25-33 what happens when we crown convenience. The world will tell you that obedience to God will threaten your security and that your spiritual life should be easy. Don’t believe it! The truth offers a better long-term solution.
Scripture: 1 Kings 12:1-20
Wayne Stiles teaches from the example of King Rehoboam in 1 Kings 12:1-20 how to avoid a royally wrong response. Ironically, trying to justify our selfish desires never leads to the satisfaction we seek. Instead, our truly selfless acts offer the greatest potential for peace.
Scripture: Hebrews 11
Drawing from Hebrews 11, Vladimir Pikman explores how God responds to the failures of His people, reminding us that even the most faithful figures in Scripture were deeply flawed yet still celebrated for their faith. He challenges believers to extend grace to those who fall, just as God graciously restores His own.

Scripture: Psalm 63
Wayne Stiles teaches from Psalm 63 what to do when nothing in life satisfies us. We each have a thirst only God can satisfy, and the Lord promises to satisfy us when we earnestly seek Him.

“America, God Shed His Grace on Thee”: Providential Events in the Founding of the United States
During the War of Independence and the founding era, numerous events occurred for which the Founders had no explanation–they could only attribute their good fortune to a superior being, and they regularly used words like “providence,” “divine protection,” “the Invisible Hand,” and “the Supreme Judge” to describe His help. These are the stories of some of the many occurrences that the Founders attributed to God’s Providence.
Scripture: Psalm 23:1-2
In this third lesson on Psalm 23, Imanuel Christian reflects on what it means to be led by the Lord beside quiet waters—into a life of peace, refreshment, and spiritual abundance. He highlights how God’s faithful guidance sustains His people with every blessing as they walk with Him daily.
Scripture: Genesis 50
Wayne Stiles teaches from the death of Joseph in Genesis 50 that we can trust that the details of our present struggle serve as vital parts of God’s grand plan. We can die with unfulfilled dreams because God’s promises extend beyond the grave.
Scripture: Genesis 49
Wayne Stiles teaches from Genesis 49 that tomorrow’s privileges can never substitute for today’s obedience. Rather than presume on the future, believers in Christ should remember that blessings follow those who dig in and endure faithfully.
Scripture: Genesis 47-48
Wayne Stiles teaches from the life of Joseph in Genesis 47-48 that we should be shrewd with the world so as to benefit God’s work, and God can use our moments of greatest despair for tremendous blessing.
Scripture: Genesis 45:16-46:30
Wayne Stiles teaches from Genesis 45-46 how God’s comfort is when we’re afraid to follow Him in a season of uncomfortable change. The four promises God made to Jacob are also the Lord’s promises to us.
