Life is filled with many challenges. The question is, “How do we handle them?” That’s where the life experience and the wise words of Paul in Acts 14:19-23 give us direction on navigating choppy waters. Steve McCoy speaks on how to handle hardships in life.
Lesson Outline
How to Handle Hardship
- Encircle yourself with support (Acts 14:20).
- Consider whether you should stay or leave your location (Acts 14:20b).
- Strengthen your heart with the truth (Acts 14:22).
- Embrace your hardship as an experience that needs to be endured (Acts 14:22).

The Believer’s Walk as Royalty – Our Escutcheon, Our Code of Conduct (Part 2)
Scripture: Ephesians 4:1-6 and Romans 13
The moment an individual believes in Christ, he immediately becomes part of the royal family of God. We have a coat-of-arms as our insignia of royalty and we are introduced to and learn our proper code of conduct. How we measure up to our position in Christ becomes our story, our history for the remainder of our lives.
