History repeats itself for nations who fall because of preoccupation with prosperity and the influence and domination of Satan’s Cosmic System. Our future is clear if we continue down the present path toward disaster. However, a viable solution is available.

Marathon Men’s Bible Study sponsored a special summer session on Biblical Prophecy led by Mike Milstead. Mike has traced how prophecy already-fulfilled in the Bible is used as a source of encouragement for folks in the Bible as well as us. How much more should we be motivated and strengthened by prophecy yet-to-be-fulfilled which is sure to happen, whether in the near or far future. John Alexander introduces the teaching with a poem he wrote for the occasion.

United States history, like many countries before us, perfectly illustrates the trends of history. The greatest achievement any nation can leave for its descendants is a heritage based on spiritual values. Ezekiel mentions 3 men who left behind the greatest spiritual heritage ever. A nation whose Christians forget the source of success and prosperity is destined to go into the ash-bin of history, often sooner rather than later. Is that our destiny?
